Hi Mr Johnson,
As you know, my furnace was shutting down every few minutes due to overheating and I had 2 different heating companies come over to diagnose the problem, one of them suggested that my furnace was too old and the other told me that the A/C coil was likely blocked (although he didn't even look at it).
When I was speaking with you on the phone, you asked me if my filter had been replaced recently or
if I was using a very restrictive type of filter and I told you that I had replaced my old filter with a more expensive one because lately I had found that our home seemed to have an unusual amount of dust .
You suggested that the new more restrictive filter might be loading up too fast because of excess dirt in the air ducts and that I should put a cheaper one in until I have the Ducts Cleaned. Upon taking your advise and removing the new filter I discovered that it was completely plugged up with dust even though I had just installed it 2 weeks earlier. I reinstalled a cheap filter until you cleaned the Ducts and I am happy to report that since then, I have put back the new high quality air filter and have not had a single problem with the furnace shutting down prematurely and it has been over 3 weeks and the filter is still very clean.

Hello Mr Johnson,
I just wanted to report back to you and let you know that we had the builder come into our home and we were told that your suspicions are in fact correct, the return air duct in the master bedroom was not routed to the main ducting in the basement and that is the reason why you did not feel any suction on that vent during the duct cleaning
That may also explain the reason why that room is always the coldest even though it is one of the closest to the furnace as you indicated.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for bringing this to our attention and also for doing an excellent job of cleaning the entire air duct system, my wife and I are very pleased with your service.
